Supporting family members with dementia and blindness

As a family of three adult children trying to work out how we can best work and communicate TOGETHER to help our mother, who is totally blind and living with AD, and our father, and help her make the most of every single day she has - bringing peace and joy in times of dis-ease.

With growing concerns about my mother’s deteriorating physical health combined with mental health I wanted to hear how best people can work and communicate TOGETHER to agree plans of action so that our father and mother are not overwhelmed by daily calls and visits and questions about ‘how are you?’ and inadvertently increase levels of anxiety in everyone trying to do their best in providing care for my mother.
