‘Innovation Sprints’ are projects led by the Alzheimer’s Society Innovation team. Each project lasts four to six months and is led by two of our Senior Innovators.

Each time we are ready to work on a new sprint project we’ll be asking you to make suggestions for what challenges our team should tackle next. These can be anything (and we mean – anything!). You’ll get to comment on the challenges other people put forward and vote on what should be our biggest priority.

For our Sprints, we follow a method called the ‘LIFE’ pathway: Learn, Investigate, Find, Experiment.

We Learn and Investigate everything we can about a topic through research and speaking to people with lived experience. We Find solutions for the problem. Once we have a shortlist of solutions, you'll have the opportunity to comment on them on the Hub and vote for the one you think we should test in the Experiment stage.

Our project teams include people affected by dementia and other experts from in and out of Alzheimer’s Society. We want to make sure everything we do is to the highest standard, and designed specifically for people affected by dementia.
